Legal action must be initiated against recruitment team

Sir,

With due regard and humble submission I on behalf of Educated Unemployed Youths Association of Manipur have the honour to lay the following facts for favour of kind necessary action. That, physical efficiency test for the above posts was started from 28.06.2010 to 23.08.2010 (very long time) at 2nd Bn. Manipur Rifles ground under the Chairmanship of Mr. P. Doungel, IPS, Director Manipur Police Training Centre, Pangei, Mr. P. Manikanta Singh, IPS Commandant 2nd Bn. Manipur Rifles as 2nd member and one nominee from Government. The State Police Chief requisitioned BSF Official posted at Imphal area to assist PET in the field. All the candidates appreciated Police Chief that BSF will perform their duty very sincere in the field as this is the first time in Manipur.

On the other hand, in the process of physical efficiency test the recruitment teams performed their duties using many illegal technique to earn money from the candidates around 20/30 thousands candidates participated in the recruitment rally. As such, the recruitment team earned around Rs 2-3 crores in the first step of the recruitment. In order to collect money the recruitment team omitted many qualified candidates and many failed candidates placed in the qualified list by collecting one lac per head.

Now the team started to collect money (Rs 1 lakh) from the candidates who qualified PET for Written Test. In this regard, I on behalf of the Educated unemployed Youths, Manipur requested that necessary legal proceeding may kindly be taken up against the recruitment teams mentioned above at the earliest before the Written test examination is conducted in the interest of justice. Necessary evidences will be furnished during the Investigation/inquiry.

Yours faithfully,
