30th Senior State Archery Championship SAIRC win 6 medals, ARAC still leading with 8 medals

IMPHAL, Sep 13
SAIRC today won seven medals while ARAC added two more medals to lead the medal tally with 8 medals of the 30th Senior State Archery Championship, 2018 organized by Manipur Archery Association at Khuman Lampak Sports Complex.
In the second day of the competition, SAIRC started their campaign claiming 3 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medals.
Compound (Men)
M Bikram Singh of UAC scored 691 in his way to gold medal performance in the 50+50 mts distance event while Sh Ramakanta Sharma GAC settled at second spot scoring 685 points and G Robert Sharma finished at third position with a score of 675 points.
Compound (Women)
P Lily Chanu won gold for SAIRC scoring 700 points in the 50+50 mts distance event followed by Th Ishembi Devi (SAIRC) with a score of 687 points while M Rupan Devi (SAIRC) scored 670 points to finish third in this event.
Individual Olympic Round (Compound Women)
SAIRC continued their impressive performance with gold medal winning performance from P Lily Chanu (139 points) and silver medal from Th Ishembi (135 points) while L Dulina of ACE scored 136 to finish with bronze medal.
Individual Olympic Round (Compound Men)
S Rajendro of SAIRC scored 139 points to laid his hand on the gold medal while Sh Ramakanta Sharma settled with silver medal scoring 138 points and P Jagat scored 142 points to take home the bronze medal.
