ADC employees are facing lots of inconveniences

I, on behalf of all the employees serving under the 6 (six) Autonomous District Council in Manipur would like to share my point of view, why the employees salaries for 6 (six) months i.e. March to August, 2010 and 14 pc D.A. arrear have not been released in the name of incompletion of MGEL District Council Employees list, by the CEOs. Withholding of the monthly salaries of the bonafide employees of ADC Hills in Manipur by the State Govt tantamount to abrogation of the fundamental rights of the affected Government servants and at once is gross violation of the constitutional rights of the peoples.

A big question of the matter is that why the incompetencies and inefficient acts of the concerned authority in preparing MGEL should harass and exploit the innocent employees who have been rendering their sincere service in the state. Instead of harassing the innocent employees better to take necessary action to the CEO’s who couldn’t execute their duty in timely. The general employees of the state have been allowed to enjoy the 14 pc D.A. arrear w.e.f. 01/01/01 to 30/06/05 vide Govt. orders no. 24/99-FD(PIC) dtd. 20th July, 2005. However, as the District Council Employees have not been allowed to enjoy/received the same without any reason. The District Council Teachers Association and Employees Union had submitted enough memorandum to the concerned Hon’ble Minister TD & Hills, Chief Secretary, Govt. of Manipur, Principal Secretary Hills. However, as effective action has been taken till today. This very step motherly treatment of the Government to the employees of Hills District Council of Manipur is highly inhuman and condemnable. I, therefore earnestly request Shri o. Ibobi Singh, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Manipur for your kind personal intervention and please do the needful before it is to late.

Yours faithfully,
Wichong Pamei, President
All Manipur District Council
Teachers’ Association & Employees Union
