Cheiraoba greetings
IMPHAL, Mar 15: Gover-nor Gurbachan Jagat and Chief Minister O Ibobi led others in greeting people of the State on the occasion of Sajibu Nongma Panba Cheiraoba.
Extending best wishes, Gurbachan said, “While entering into the new year, we have to dedicate ourselves to gathering renewed strength and confidence in order to strengthen bonds of friendship, brotherhood and peaceful co-existence amongst all sections of people irrespective of caste, creed, language and religion.
In his message, O Ibobi said, “On this auspicious occasion, let us rededicate ourselves to the gigantic task of nation building and resolve to work together for the unity and prosperity of the State.”
Extending greetings, Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) President Gaikhangam wished, “Let the aged-long harmony and cordial relations amongst various communities be prevailed in the State with the coming of another new year.”
Manipur People’s Party (MPP) President Dr Nimai-chand Luwang in his mes- sage invoked blessing of the almighty for the State's tranquillity and harmony with the coming of Sajibu Nongma Panba Cheiraoba.
Among others MPP Minority Cell, United Com- mittee Manipur (UCM), Laiyingthou Sanamahi Thougal Kanglup, Ethno Heritage Council (HERICOUN), Kangleipak Ngalhanba Apunba Lup and Salai Punshi Pham have also extended best wishes to the people of the State on the occasion.
