PREPAK accuses FCS Minister
IMPHAL, Jul 23: Accusing FCS Minister Y Erabot, PREPAK Chinglemba Ma-ngang group has categori- cally stated that siphoning of the PDS items meant for distribution among the pu-blic by the Minister in con- nivance with some of his stooges has been detected.
In a statement, secretary-in-charge of department of publicity and propaganda of the outfit Konthoujam Chingkhei Meetei said involvement of the Minister in siphoning off the PDS items and selling them for profit in black market has been known from the statement given to the outfit by District Supply Officer (DSO) of Senapati district RK Binoy (52) of Kongba Laishram Leikai, who is also the Officer on Special Duty (OSD) of the Minister.
In this regard, the outfit has asked Minister Erabot, Imphal East DC Thamki-shore Singh, SDO Imphal East W Deven Singh, LDC of FCS Imphal East Romen, FCS transport contractor Dojendro and Kesho, Pathou of Thangmeiband, Kewal Agarwal of Thangal Bazar, proprietor of MI Singh Mantripukhri; wife of Minister Erabot, proprietor of PCTC Khoyathong Pra-kash, traders Khamba of Ayangpalli Porompat, Ram-eshor of Wangkhei Angom leikai and worker of Minister Jadumani Bihari of Man- tripukhri to come to outfit within five days. Otherwise, they should be give capital punishment, the outfit warned.
