Imphal, Jun 12 : As the FIFA World Cup is round the corner and acknowledging the love of the game of football in the State, former Indian football star and brand ambassador of Vector X, Bhaichung Bhutia today officially launched Vector X FIFA accredited football collection, the flagship brand of Soccer International Pvt Ltd, here in Imphal at RSRS Sports Shop at 1 pm.
Soccer International Pvt Ltd which is a well-known manufacturer and distributor of world class sports equipment, launched the brand sensing the mood of the Nation and the people of Manipur in particular. With the fairly priced footballs being manufactured using the latest technology like Thermofusion and Themobonding to match the global standard, the company aims in encouraging and motivating the young footballers across small towns and cities in the country.
Speaking at the launch, Vikas Gupta, MD Soccer International Pvt Ltd said, ” It is indeed a very proud moment for the entire Vector X team as we take a leap forward towards a more promising future.” He also said that the aim of the company is to make the game of football reach every corner of India. Three new FIFA Accredited Balls from Vector which is priced very competitively will be a formidable force to be reckoned with, he added.
The launch event was also attended by Armstrong Pame, IAS, Director Youth Affairs and Sports Department; Francis Marwein, Director SAI, NERC, Imphal; Maisnam Lekhendro, Commandant (ADM), Sector HQ, CI OPS, Manipur; Thokchom Krishnatombi Singh, MPS Addl SP, Loktak Project Force; K Homeshwar, 2 IC, 54 Bn, BSF, Loktak; Major Yambem Angamba Singh, Deputy Project ManagerNSU Society and other coaches from various sports federations.
The local residents and sports enthusiasts and winners of the Click, Tag and Win contest also attended the launch and met the former Indian footballer popularly known as Sikkimese Sniper, Bhaichung Bhutia.
The country marketing head, Sameer Mehta also expressed happiness over the successful launch on the occasion.
