MUTA colloquium lecture held

IMPHAL, Dec 6: The fifth lecture of Manipur University Teachers’ Association (MUTA) Colloquium Series (M)CS-5 was held yesterday at MUTA conference hall, MU.
The lecture was delivered by Professor Nongmaithem Rajmuhon, Dean of Mathematical and Physical Sciences, MU on the topic “Vision for Manipur University in the Globalized Education System”.
He stated that higher education is an extremely crucial constituent of a Nation’s socio-economic development.
He elaborated its performance has a direct impact on the future of the Nation.
MUTA president Prof Ngangkham Nimai who took pzart in the discussion stated that Manipur University needs a power station of its own in its campus for uninterrupted power supply to the campus.
Many other professors also took part in the discussion wherein they gave their opinion to bring about quality education in the State.
Convener of MUTA Colloquium Series, Dr KB Mangang stated that quality education is is a kind of education which brings honesty in the society.
