NEDF urges

IMPHAL, Feb 13: The North East Dialogue Forum has urged the Governments concerned to bring back stability, normalcy and to unconditionally release all those who were arrested for opposing the Citizenship Amendment Bill 2016 at the earliest.
A press release issued by the association today expressed desire for the Union Government not to resort to issuing an ordinance on the CAB.
It further lauded all those who stood firmly against CAB, including the various political parties, students organisations, CSOs, pressure groups, people’s organisations and individuals from different walks of life including intellectuals and media.
It then appealed for all to remain united for the integrity of the country and to maintain secularism and plurality.
