IMPHAL, Feb 16: NESO secretary general and AMSU advisor Sinam Prakash soon after arriving here from Delhi visited the wounded women vendors who are undergoing treatment at RIMS after they sustained injuries in police crack down on anti-CAB protesters at Khwairamband Keithel on February 10.
While extending certain aid to the wounded vendors, the NESO secretary general said that it was the resolute stand of Manipuri women which successfully kept CAB 2016 at bay, and the Government of India could not suppress the anti-CAB civil movement as it was a collective movement of all the people of the North East.
He also lambasted the State Government for its attempt to take credit for not tabling CAB 2016 in the Rajya Sabha.
