RJSP releases election manifesto

IMPHAL, Apr 12: Rashtriya Janahit Sangarsh Party (RJSP) has released it manifesto today at the party’s office in Khuyathong Polem Leikai, Imphal.
RJSP is fielding Senjam Nandeshwor as its candidate from the Inner Parliamentary Constituency. The election is scheduled to be held on April 18.
The manifesto contains 21 points.
RJSP promises unemployment allowance to educated adults who are between the age group 18 to 36.
Class X – XII/PUC (Arts/Science) or equivalent will be given Rs 1,000 per month. BA/BSc or equivalent will be given Rs 1,500 per month. MA/MSc or Post Graduate or equivalent will be given Rs 2,000 per month.
Dr/Diploma/Degree in Engineering Course or equivalent will be given Rs 2,500 per month said the manifesto.
RJSP promises to fight Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB), AFSPA, restore Inner Line Permit System, safeguard territorial integrity and solve border issues.
It also promises to fight for granting the right to contest election to people of 7 ACs who are only allowed to vote in the Parliamentary elections.
The manifesto also mentions necessary amendment of the Manipur Land Revenue Act 1960.
RJSP will also build a second Ema market which will house about 10,000 women vendors, said the manifesto.
