RMSA teachers urge CEO

IMPHAL, Feb 17: The Joint SSA and RMSA Teachers’ Association has submitted a memo to the Chief Electoral Officer as well as to all the respective DCs concerned demanding exemption of all SSA and RMSA teachers from any duty related to the Parliamentary election 2019.
The memo mentioned that the SSA and RMSA teachers have been undergoing cease work strike since February 4 due to the failure of the State Government to fulfil the minimum basic rights of all the SSA and RMSA teachers who were appointed as regular teachers under the Department of Education (S) at different batches since 2011.
It further appealed to the authorities concerned to consider the plight and grievances of the teachers and to exempt them from all duties of the ensuing Parliamentary election so as to show solidarity to the cause of all the SSA and RMSA teachers of the State.
