Post-poll violence haunts CCpur AC

CCpur, Mar 6 : At a time when the polling exercise in Churachandpur’s town area was considered as one of the finest in recent times, a post-poll violence witnessed last night has overturned the ambience, with tensions running high and a swift shutdown crippling normal life today.

Churachandpur: Alleging that the polls in at least three polling stations under Henglep AC had been rigged yesterday by INC workers, a group of protesters today sought a repoll in these booths and held a sit in protest near the DEO office.
