Dog bubble

Did you guys know that one dog year is equivalent to seven human years? Bet you didn't but its good now that you know and it’s an honor for me to let you know. You see I believe that knowledge must be circulated in order that knowledge does not lose its value’s. I really sustain this contradiction because it’s about knowledge and I have been stalking knowledge for a long time, it’s kind of a long romantic story. What so amazing is that it is so vast, when you really think you know everything, you really don’t. There is always something new to venture into, you just have to look into it, a new vista is always there, you just have to reach out to it.

I do not respect people who think they know all, (those people exist) bastards I don't mind biting them. Come to think of it compare a farmer and a proper intellect, it is understood that that the intellect will be substantially knowledgeable, in fact too much comparatively to the farmer. But will the intellect know the wisdom of a farmer that is passed down from generations to generations? Besides it is refined wisdom man! I’m talking about respect out here people, if you can get my drift. What’s the difference between knowledge and wisdom? Knowledge is bookish awareness, it is fixed and you follow what the book tells you, it has an end. Whereas in wisdom it gives you space to imagine. Do you like to imagine?

But knowledge is essential and of course there are different paths to knowledge, I know you guys go to school, colleges or big shot institutions to seek knowledge. How would you really define knowledge in short? Let me give you ''my opinion'', knowledge is the answer to your questions. Ever since grade one I’m pretty sure you've been mugging answers and people tend to rank themselves upon that. You may disagree or agree but I wouldn't change my opinion may be in another life time but right know I don't have anything to prove. Everything is a subject to change, don't you think so? Well think about it if you can. Don’t get me wrong, I’m only being natural that’s is I’m being my self, in that way it makes me happy. I can't be content by trying to be some one else. There is only one me in this world, in the same way there is only one you in this world and what a waste it would be of ''myself'' if I try to be someone else. But you see my problem is that I’m not a conventional thinker, my approach in life is not that of the traditional way, I’m not that orthodox if you have to scale me on that and if you'd allow me I would like to define myself as a independent thinker, a maverick would be the correct word for me.

I almost forgot by the way my name is Bentley, I’m a Dane, black in color, you could have guessed it and I look just like any other Dane of the same color. I’m a normal dog with abnormal problems, for the time being just leave it there. It took me a while to understand the real meaning of my name; I guess it is a Manipuri thing to have really hardcore reputable names. I think it is pretty evident; Manipuri people have pretty classic historical names. Don‘t you think so? Any case I like my name, after all I’m a Bentley and it’s classy.

Who gave me this name? Mark, he is my friend; he fits in my category of a friend. When I say friend he is a ''real friend'' not one of those plastic friends that you meet every once in a while. Have you? I have meet a few back in the days but its good because you tend learn from mistakes. You see some people always hesitate to do anything because they feel inferior while some are busy making mistakes and becoming superior.

I have met many, in-fact quite a lot of types of friends. You know what I mean, types of friends. I’m friendly by nature so I tend to make friends easily. But when I think broadly there are two types of people and they have very distinctive approaches in life. One is the formulated approach and the other the approach is based on feelings. The formulated ones are the one’s who function under principles, those who have methods in life. If you scratch back, I’ll scratch yours, that kind of people, normally the successful people but not in all cases. The second type is the one who function under the influence of their feelings. They don’t have methods or formula in their approach in life. Well that’s my observation; besides Mark also read it to me, I remember vaguely and you really don’t have to agree with me.

Any case Mark my friend is the biggest influence in my life for every thing I know is from him and everyone I know is an extended friend through him. I can totally rant about him, it will never end if I have to but I will tell you what is right to know in the shortest way.

It all started when I was small; come to think of it I have more attachment with him then with my mom. I have a very vague memory of mom; I think I’ll feel very awkward if I have to meet her. Mark took me when I was to small in fact to small to be given away; mark raised me like any mother would raise her child. But that was the past now we have more like chum-ish relation and all is good.

You know what my puppy hood (is it even a word?) was ideal. I was raised like any of you human was and I have become too human. I like human food way better than the dog food. I still like chocolate ice cream till today. I think I have become too human; well that’s what I think. I even had soft toys to play with; you know all those teddy bear types. But my favorite was Mr. cow, it was like woo for me when came to Mr. cow. We have a good relation though even though I have to do all talking for him. Mr. cow is brown in color with white patches and he smells like me because all the time he hangs out with me. He is my second best friend other from Mark. Mr. Cow and me share the same bed, I sleep in one half and he sleeps in the other half. There are bad nights and we fight at times. But he is a good companion and he comforts me when I feel scared at times. We’ve been through so much together since I have known him from day one. I like Mr. cow.

You humans tend to grow up and forget your child hood fantasies because you guys are ‘’grown up’’, big deal. Guess what it is very inevitable is that aging is mandatory but growing up, common people it’s optional. We have this forever-young mentality that is Mark and I. That’s our bubble, I’m for sure even you have your own bubble. What is a bubble? It is the things that in your life are made up of; it is in fact a very contemporary way of fitting my point of view, its ok as long as you get my point.

I like four things or four things like me that is running around with mark, reading with mark while I listen to whatever he reads because it is good for me under mark's judgment even though some times there are things I really don't agree with, point number three I like to eat, you see as a dog I love to eat, it is one of the best things that life has to offer and the last thing I like to is to sleep, there is no such thing like a good sleep. Do I even need to elaborate about sleep? Of course you humans like to sleep, don't you?

That’s my bubble people and I have an ideal time doing these things. You must be having your own bubble, try looking into it. But what do I know? I’m just a dog.
