Pollution of Kangla Fort

Sir,

I can’t understand why do we pollute our wonderful god gifted environment asks Social Worker Amrik Singh Pahwa on vehicular traffic inside KANGLA FORT where senior citizens are enjoying during their early morning walk. With lot of agitations and efforts of the people of Manipur, this land was vacated by Assam Rifles. A lot of effort is done to make it wonderful heritage park with lots of plantation of various trees which has added a feather in its cap. Such a beautiful panoramic and religious sight with its green and clean environment is really a gift of god. I have felt the elderly people who are enjoying early morning walk inside KANGLA FORT feels disturbed by fast moving security and VIP vehicles as well as smoke of water tankers spoiling the entire clean environment.

It would be highly appreciated if the vehicular traffic is restricted during early morning looking the interest of one and all. It is not only polluting the environment but a risk factor to all those elderly walking people. In the interest of all I want to appeal to the concerned authority if something could be done at their earliest. I have travelled various places of the world and such health hazard is not possible. Elderly people and senior citizen can not walk freely with a tension free mind because of fast moving security vehicle from southern gate to northern gate of KANGLA FORT which can be avoided as well as entry of water tankers to fill water for Kangla can also be restricted till 7 am in the public interest if the Govt. desires. It is just a humble submission in the public interest feels Social worker Amrik Singh Pahwa.
Yours Faithfully
Press Secy. To
Amrik Singh Pahwa
Imphal
