Peace meet at Tamei

IMPHAL, Nov 4 : Pubic leaders from frontal organi-sational level to the village level particpated in a seminar on development and peace at Tamei sub divisional head-quarters on Saturday.

The seminar was organised by the Liangmai Naga Baptist Association, Manipur (LN-BA-M) in association with C-CERP, Dimapur where 9 Dogra Regiment CO Colonel Dinesh, C-CERP director Liangsi Niumai John, Rev H Newmai, SDC Tamei P Wilungbou, Liangmai Naga Council vice president B Kadinlungbou, LNBA executive secretary Z Mairilungbou, Tamei authority chairman Ch Poujiang and ex-chairman of Tamei N Pokenpon were the resource speakers of the occasion.

The seminar dwelt at length on micro economic development, business entrepreneurship, agriculture based economy and other related topics. To bring peace and tranquility in the society have also been parts of the subject of the Saturday’s Tamei seminar.

LNBA leader Liangpibou said around 123 leaders participated in the programme enthusiastically and it was a much needed seminar. “Tamei area needs this kind of seminar and we are looking forward to have more of such programmes,” said Liangpibou.

Meanwhile, the LNBA has lauded Tamei SDC P Wilungbou, 9th Dogra Regiment official Col.Dinesh and C-CERP director Liangsi Niumai John for all the supports including financial assistance for the successful conducting of the seminar.
