In place of the former practice of organizing a seminar for orange growers, a field study trip will be organized for the orange farmers this year.

Hectic preparation has started for smooth conduct of the annual extravaganza that identifies Tamenglong district.
The 40 Km stretch of Tamenglong- Sangrung road which is in very bad shape is under renovation under BRTF in view of the festive season.
Moreover, the organizing committee has appealed all concerned not to resort to any form of bandh or blockade which may disrupt the festival but to extend cooperation for successful organization of the festival.
This is very welcoming news. I love everything that promotes harmony, engagegemnt, togetherness, understanding, growth and advancement during this hard and critical time facing the state. We should all participate in the festival and make it a grand success signalling that any event based on community participation, growing togetherness and regional advancement are destined for wider encouragement. I wish the so called many frontal organisations presumably representing so and so ethnic precints are not playing their usual spoilsports and making the ensuing festival a moment to reckon with.
its learned that some of the organizers had eaten up a lot of money; build their houses and own a cars with the money sanction for this festival... let the poor villagers who produced oranges also get some benefit this time... wishes the best
