Open letter to DC, CCpur District, Manipur
Sir,
On 5th Nov 2012, complain on matter concerning some government servants contesting Rengkai Village Authority Election had been lodged to you but of no avail.
It is understood that the service rule of the government clearly spell out that a serving government employee is barred from contesting any elected post, (be it MP, MLA, MDC or Village Authority Member). You, being head of the District Administration, know this Civil service rule very well more than I do.
In contravention of their service rules, the following five respected gentlemen of government servants were allowed to contest the just concluded Village Authority Election of Rengkai village, who are duly declared elected, they are.
1. Joseph Lalrothang, ZEO, Ccpur. 2. Dr H L Liensang, CMO, Ccpur Civil Hospital. 3. Dr Thienkhogin F Tuollai, District Leprosy Officer. 4. Thanglien\huom, Asstt Teacher, Rengkai Govt Higher Sc School 5. L Hmingsang Joute, Laboratory Asstt, Chemistry, Dept. Ccpur Govt College.
I am under the impression that you are granting extra concession or immunity to the above five respected government employees. Should they go scot free just because they are concealed by the highest administrator of our District ?
