Training camp ends

IMPHAL, Dec 4: A two-day training programme on mushroom production technology organised by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Imphal East Andro concluded today.

The training programme, attended by about 50 persons from Andro and nearby places, is said to have been conducted under the NICRA Project's technology demonstration component. According to KVK, Andro's Programme Coordinator T Medhabati Devi mushroom plant normally gains maturity at 45 days with kilogram of mushroom commanding over Rs 80 in the market.
