1st State Level U-15 Football Tournament gets underway

 IMPHAL, Oct 15
The opening ceremony of 1st State Level U-15 Football Tournament 2019 being organised by 13 Stars Youth Development Association, Khangabok was held today at Basu Ground, Khangabok.
A press release issued by the organising secretary said that altogether 8 teams namely 13 Stars YDA, Khangabok; NIC, Khunou; SCEO, Sorok Wangma, SISA FC, Khangabok; Imoinu  Football Club, Heirok; Young Boys, Khangabok; NKJC, Khangabok and Young Star Football Club, Thoubal are participating in the tourney.
Dr Nandini Elangbam, Sr ENT Consultant, former CMO (CAPF) and Laishram Manglem Singh, retd Superintendent (Stationary) graced the ceremony as chief guest and president respectively.
In the opening match, Young Star FC sealed a hard fought 4-3 win over 13 Stars YDA.
