Mini and Sub-Jr State Open Badminton: M Sushanta to meet Kalo Truman in U-11 boys singles final

IMPHAL, Oct 17 : M Sushanta will lock horns with Kalo  Truman in the U-11 boys singles final of the 64th Mini and Sub-Junior State Open Badminton Championship which kicked off on Wednesday at Indoor Stadium, DM College Campus under the supervision of Manipur Badminton Association.
M Sushanta reached the U-11 boys singles final with a 21-11, 21-11 thrashing of Martin Ingudam in the first semi-final today while Kalo Truman carved out a 15-21, 24-22, 21-19 comeback win over Kyoveio Mangsuan Vemal to complete the final line up today.
The final line up for the U-15 boys' singles competition was also decided today with Matic Rohe and Ronald RK making it to the finals.
Matic Rohe sealed a 21-12, 16-21, 21-17 win against RK Alen Singh today to book the final berth while Salam Bishal Singh eased past Salam Bishal Singh 21-17, 21-16 to complete the final line up.
The U-13 girls singles final will see K Gunjan face off with Leonie T.
K Gunjan progressed into the final with a 21-9, 21-8 win against Karong Florida Kom while Leonie T earned a hard fought 21-6, 19-21, 21-19 against Kh Senlina in the other semi-final match to book the remaining final slot.
