Medilane launches ambulance service, mobile app

IMPHAL, Oct 17:  Medilane celebrated its 3rd foundation day and launched a mobile application and ambulance service today.
The services were launched at a function held at Classic Grande, Chingmeirong, Imphal.
With the Medilane app, any person with a smart phone can book services provided by Medilane like ambulance services, nursing care at home, home sample collection, doctor home visit, physiotherapy home visit, medical equipment rental and medical oxygen cylinder and information regarding hospitals across India etc.
This is a step towards Medilane expanding its  reach and services in the North Eastern States, said officials.
The application is available on Google Play Store and can be download for free (http://bit.ly/Medilane).
Medilane has 15 ambulances out of which 3 are advance life support ambulance and 12 are basic life support ambulances.
The advance life support ambulance is equipped with transport ventilator, patient monitor, infusion pump, and defibrillator, autoloader stretchers, suction machine, medical oxygen, full AC, emergency medicine, emergency medical technician or doctor etc and are commonly used for transportation of critical patient and transportation of patient for long distances and outside the States like Guwahati, Shillong etc.
The basic life support ambulance is equipped with medical oxygen, autoloader stretcher, emergency  medicine, emergency medical technician etc and are used to transport for short distance.
Any person can book Medilane ambulance from Medilane app or call at dedicated helpline number 09205987988 for availing service.
Medilane is planning to keep at least 2 ambulances in each district HQs of Manipur to provide faster emergency response, said officials.
Medilane will also provide medical and ambulance team for sports and other events all across the State.
It is also planning to provide air ambulance service for patient who needs to shift to Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Guwahati, and any other city of India. Medilane has provided home care services to more than 1,000 patient so far and has more than 120 people employed. It has won many awards and featured in leading publication of India like Force India, Your story etc.
