Yaiphabi wins kids' Indian Round gold at State Archery C'ship

IMPHAL, Oct 18 : Ng Yaiphabi Chanu of YAC won the kid girls' Indian Round gold medal with a score of 329 points in the ongoing 3rd Kid, 12th Mini and 34th Sub-Junior State Archery Championships, 2019 organised by Manipur Archery Association at Thoubal Kshetri Leikai.
SAIRC's Lamina Longjam who shot 288 points to take the silver medal in the same event while VAA's Th Jeshica finished third with 245 points for the bronze medal.
Kid boys' Indian Round gold was earned by Lamyanba Soibam of ACE with a total score of 348 points while his compatriot  Ngamkheingakpa won the silver with 300 points. VAA's L Jemrica who shot 286 points take the bronze medal of the event.
In the 15 m Compound event for kid boys, H Biju of VAA won the gold with 315 points finish while Y Lanthoiba of PC (298 pts) and Ch Chitan Singh of VAA(209 pts) won the silver and the bronze medal respectively.
50+50 m Recurve events
L Rabina of NSA won the mini girls' recurve gold securing 570 points to beat NSA's H Sandhyarani (567 pts) and Jennifer P of VAA (555 pts).
UAC's K Rohit who collected 615 points won the boys' 50+50 m Recurve gold while ACE's N Ishwarchandra (609 pts) and S Dollar of NSA (581 pts) fetched the silver and bronze medal respectively.
50+50 m Compound events
VAA's M Prity of VAA (602 points) clinched the 50+50 m compound event gold while her compatriots, Senyai Th (597 pts) and Ng Ushakiran (374 pts) respectively won the gold, silver and bronze.
On the other hand, UAC's RK Priyobarta (660 pts), NSA's E Langanba (634 pts) and Ng Pradip Meitei of UAC (604 pts) won the gold, silver and bronze medal in the mini boys competition.
