WY tablets seized

TENGNOUPAL, Oct 17: A team of 12 Assam Rifles seized 52,000 WY (World is Yours) tablets and 138 gms of brown sugar while checking a vehicle coming from Moreh side at Khudengthabi check post, yesterday night, reports our correspondent.
The drugs were seized from the driver of one Eeco van, who has been identified as Ginmuanlian Zou (30), s/o Nengkhangthang Zou of Lhangnem Village, CCPur.
It is reported that the seized WY tablets is worth about Rs 1 crore and 56 lakh and the brown sugar approximately Rs 27 lakh and 60 thousand at the International market.
The seized drugs and the driver have been handed over to Moreh police for investigation.
