DESAM distributes prizes for quiz competition

IMPHAL, Oct 19: Democratic Students’ Alliance of Manipur (DESAM) organised prize distribution function of the State Level Environment Written Quiz Competition 2019 at Lamyanba Shanglen, Palace Compound, Imphal today.
Chairman of Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur Lamabam Mahendra Singh, president DESAM Salam Aakash attended the event.
Sahid Afridy of Standard Robarth bagged first prize in the Category A (Class V - VII), while Yespal Nongthombam of St Joseph and Maikam Tania of Little Flower bagged second and third prizes.
Leishangthem Langonbi Chanu of Heritage Convent, Naorem Kenison of JNV Khumbong and S Manimacha of M Ganga Academy bagged the first, second and third prizes of the Category B (Class VIII-X). 60 participants were also awarded consolation prizes.
