18th 7-Men Soccer Tournament concludes

Tengnoupal, Oct 19 : The 18th edition of 7-Men Soccer Tournament organised by Meipou Soccer Youth Development Organisation (MSYDO), Laiching Maipou  under the supervision of All Maring Sports Association (AMSA) culminated on Friday (October 18) at Laiching Maipou Playground, in Tengnoupal district.
Chothe Baptist Church Association, Youth Department (CHBCAYD) emerged the champions of the tournament which was participated by 68 teams by beating  Heigrutampak Youth Club (HYC) 4-3 via tie breaker in the final after a 1-1 stalemate during the normal time.
The valedictory function of the tournament was graced by K Kodun, Social Worker as chief guest; Pipa Methew Dangshawa, SO, PWD, Tengnoupal Division as functional president and Major Devan, 26 Sector AR as guest of honour who also feted the winners and runners up teams.
Winners,  CHBCAYD walked away Rs 40,000 richer while HYC had to contend with a cash prize of Rs 30,000.
