IMPHAL, Oct 19: Lauding the order of the High Court of Manipur which quashed the  Manipur Civil Services Combined Competitive Examination 2016, the All Manipur Students Union (AMSU) has demanded that the then Secretary of the MPSC (Manipur Public Service Commission) Shyam Lal Poonia should not leave the State on deputation until the CBI enquiry ordered by the High Court is over.
Speaking to media persons at their office at Dhamanjuri University, AMSU president Peter Laishram said that the union welcomes the order of the Court for more transparent examinations in future.
Along with the aspirants, AMSU had raised its voice over the conduct of the examination. MPSC and all authorities concerned should cooperate with the CBI enquiry and all those involved in the case should be held accountable, he said.
It may be noted that the MCSCCE 2016 was qua-shed as it had many irre- gularities.
