Naga deal should not affect us, says AAPSU

ITANAGAR, Oct 29: The All Arunachal Pradesh Students’ Union (AAPSU) has categorically stated that the proposed agreement to resolve the Naga political problem with its deadline on October 31 should not affect Arunachal and its people in any way.
The Centre is pushing the matter of resolving the Naga political problem with the NSCN (IM).
“The AAPSU strongly opposes any attempts to change the territorial jurisdiction of the State or any kind of administrative intervention in the State while reaching the final solution,” the union said in a statement.
It also demanded that the State Government, including all its 60 legislators, the three MPs, and the political parties, make their clear stand on the vexed issue. The Sentinel
