MU badminton team for East Zone Inter University tourney named

 IMPHAL, Oct 4
Manipur University Sports Committee (MUSC) has announced the name of students (Men & Women) who have been selected to represent MU in the East Zone Inter University Badminton (M&W) Tournament, 2019-20, to be held at AB Vajpayee University, Bilaspur (CG), Chhattisgarh in the first week of November.
O Aimson Singh (MU); M Nicky Singh (BMC); A Rupachandra Singh (DMC, Sc); S Manisana Singh (RAL); G Rajesh Singh (DMC, Sc) and K Alex Singh (MU) will represent MU in the men's tournament while Priya Konjengbam (Moirang College); N Purnima Devi (SEMCO); S Belory (MU) and Y Bidyaluxmi (Imphal College) will take part in the women's event.
Meanwhile, Kalenyai Khwairakpam of DMC, Sc (men) and Anjalee K of Standard College (women) have been placed on the reserve list to replace the students from the selected list in case of any withdrawal, said a statement of MUSC. MUSC also urged all the selected students to report at the committee's office on October 9 at 1 pm for further directives.
