Temple inaugurated at Hiyangthang

IMPHAL, Nov 10: Heibok Mahadeva Development Committee, Heibokching, Hiyangthang inaugurated a newly built Temple today.
Senior Advocate P Haricharan Singh, Dean Mathematical and Physical Sciences, Manipur University Professor Dr N Rajmuhon Singh, Director ICM Imphal Dr N Ranjana Devi, economist Dr N Mohendro Singh, president HLDSC A Tompok Singh, vice chairman HHMDC M Jugindro (Khamba) Singh, secretary HLDSC M Ibochouba Singh and vice chairman HHMDC Sarangthem Ningthemjao Singh attended the inaugural event as presidium members.
Speaking at the event, Heibok Mahadeva Development Committee secretary Loitongbam Brajamohon said that the temple was built for convenience to devotees.
Paonam Haricharan Singh and Paonam (O) Moirangthem Ningol Meenakumari made major contribution for construction of the Temple, he said.
A Mandap will also be completed soon, he said.
The Temple opens on Sundays.
