Indian Army flags off National Integration Tour to Delhi

IMPHAL, Nov 10
Indian Army under Operation Sadbhavana flagged off a National Integration Tour for 18 students and two staff of Kumbi College, Manipur to Delhi and Agra on November 8. The tour aims to provide an insight into the ethnic, cultural and religious diversity of India, said a statement of PIB (Defence Wing).
They will visit premier institutions and witness the strides made by India in the fields of economy, infrastructure and entertainment. Organized under the theme of ‘Today’s Children, Tomorrow's Future of the North East’, the tour is yet another endeavour of Indian Army to harness the potential of children from families which are below the poverty line and from remote locations, said the statement.
