No transport service on Imp-Moreh road today

IMPHAL, Nov 9: All passenger services and goods transportation will be stopped along Imphal-Moreh road tomorrow, in solidarity to COCOMI's  civil movement against any possible adverse impact of the Indo-Naga peace talks to the integrity of Manipur.
Speaking to media persons at Manipur Press Club today, president of Imphal to Moreh Van Eco Drivers' Union, Keithellakpam Nabakishore said that all the drivers transporting passengers and goods along Imphal Moreh route will stop their service tomorrow and instead stage an alert sit-in protest at Moreh parking, Moirangkhom from 7 am. Stating that the association has resolved to stage the protest tomorrow in solidarity to COCOMI's civil movement, he warned if any vehicle is found ferrying passengers or goods along the said route tomorrow by disregarding the grave issue, then the association will seize the permit of the defaulting vehicle.
