AVBP hails Ayodhya verdict

IMPHAL, Nov 9 : The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad has wholeheartedly wel-comed the unanimous verdict on Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid land dispute case by a five-Judge Bench of the Supreme Court, while stating that today's verdict has put an end to the decades long dispute.
The SC, after listening to both the parties, passed the historic judgement of handing over the disputed land to the Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas and sanctioning alternative land to Sunni Waqf Board, said a press release issued by secretary, ABVP central office, Mumbai.
Welcoming the verdict, National general secretary of ABVP, Ashish Chauhan said that it is a historic verdict and the Vidyarthi Pari- shad welcomes it wholeheartedly.
He expressed hope that the Government will soon start the process of construction of Ram mandir in Ayodhya.
