RNSOM, RNYOM decry deplorable road

Noney, Nov 10: Rongmei Naga Students' Organization (RNSOM), in a press release, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the present State Govt for initiating several development projects under different Ministry of  Govt of India which has resulted in the construction of many motorable roads in majority of the villages that were erstwhile remained disconnected due to lack of roads.
However, the contractors/work agency compromised the quality of work while implementing different road construction projects specially PMGSY scheme executed by GoM funded by Ministry of Rural Development, GoI, it alleged and appeal all contractor/work agency to pay due importance to the welfare and development of the rural public.
It further appealed the concerned authority to look into the matter so that the quality of work is not compromised.
The students' organization also urged all the zone executives of RNSOM and RNYOM to closely monitor the quality and work progress of PMGSY road at their respective zone and submit report for necessary actions in the interest of the public, maintained the statement.
