Thoubal district TT players feted

THOUBAL, Nov 10: Thoubal District Table Tennis Association (TDTTA) has feted its players who have won medals in different State level table tennis tournaments with simple gifts and certificates, today in a programme conducted at TDTTA Hall at Thoubal Wangmataba.
The programme was attended by Khangabok MLA, O Surjakumar; TDTTA, president, Dr O Ibopishak Singh; Addl SP (Ops) Thoubal, Soibam Sachidanan-da as chief  guest, president and guest of honour respectively. During the programme, all present prayed for better performance of the State table tennis players at the UTT 81st Cadet, National Sub Junior and Inter State Table Tennis Championship slated to be held from November 16 to 22 in Himachal Pradesh. Notably, 10 out of 18 players selected in the State team for the championship, are from Thoubal District, reports our correspondent.
