Last four line up for IW District Village Men's Open Football tourney completed

IMPHAL, Nov 2 : NSU Awang Potsangbam, LKSU Loitangkhunou, Ngairangbam FC and Moidangpok FC have reached the last four round of the ongoing Imphal West District 7-A Side Village Men's Open Football Tournament-2019 organised by Imphal West Students' Club at its ground at Khumbong.
NSU Awang Potsangbam sealed a comfortable 4-2 win over Lanchenbi FC Taobungkhuk in the first quarter final encounter today, riding on two goals by S Rahul and one each from Kh Pamel and K Tomba.
Kumar and S Anand scored the two goals for the losing side.
The second quarter match saw Ngairangbam FC seal a hard fought 3-2 victory over KFC, Kangmong.
Though H Samanda opened the account for Ngairanbam FC in the 6th minute, the lead was quickly equalised by Sanathoi of KFC in the following minute. Ngairangbam FC regained the control as Kh Oken Singh struck his first in the 11th minute before Kh Akom  made it 3-1. Though KFC gave their best, the team could scored only one goal in the second half through Ajay, thereby losing the match 2-3 at the hands of Ngairangbam FC.
In the third quarter final match, LKSU Loitang Khunou beat Sangai FC by 4-2 while Moidangpok FC secured an easy 5-3 victory over IWSC-A Khumbong via tie breaker after 2-2 draw during normal time to secure the remaining last four slots.
