1st Indigenous Tribal Games and Sports Meet on December 10

IMPHAL, Nov 26
All Tribal Students' Union of Manipur (ATSUM) will be organising the 1st Indigenous Tribal Games and Sports Meet on December 10 in Imphal.
As per a press release of ATSUM, the event will be graced  by N Kayisii, Minister Tribal Affairs and Hills as chief guest. It also said that the event as a step towards promoting indigenous games and sports.
ATSUM also requested all the recognised tribes to demonstrate at least one item each in traditional attires for a minimum duration of 20 minutes. The event which is the first of its kind,  is being organised for documentation, continued the release while asking respective tribes to submit the name of traditional games and sports along with the synopsis on or before December 5 at the office of ATSUM at Adimjati Complex, Imphal during office hours.
