Three U-14 boxers from State reach semis at 65th NSG

IMPHAL, Nov 27: Manipur's three U-14 players made themselves into the semi-finals of the boxing competition of the 65th National School Games-2019 which is underway at Karnal, Haryana since November 25 under the aegis of School Games Federation of India.
Bidyananda who is competing in the 34 kg category assured himself of a medal by overwhelming NVS rival 5-0 while H Rishi Mangang defeated IPSC boxer 5-0 to reach the last 4 in the 42 kg category event.
The third player who made it to the semi-finals is Kh Bikash who sealed a 4-1 win against Punjab opponent in a 46 kg quarter final bout.
