IW Dist Men's Open Football: Moidangpok FC to meet LKSU in ultimate clash

IMPHAL, Nov 3 : Moidangpok FC will take on LKSU, Loitang Khunou for the title of the Imphal West District 7-A Side Village Men's Open Football Tournament being organised by Imphal West Students' Club at its ground at Khumbong.
The first semi-final match of the tournament saw Moidangpok FC N Rohen score twice to hand Moidangpok FC a 2-1 win against NSU, Awang Potsangbam. N Rohen opened up the scoring in the 12th minute of the match before slamming home another in the 19th minute to make it 2-0.
Ch Johnson helped NSU pull back a goal in the 20th minute of the match but their effort fell short to draw level thereby paving way for Moidangpok FC into the final.
Meanwhile in the second semi-final match, N Sana scored a goal worthy enough of a winner as LKSU, Loitang Khunou  beat IWSC, Khumbong 1-0 for the final ticket.
