HYDCCL open 39th Jr Boys State Level Volleyball Tourney with straight sets win

IMPHAL, Nov 6 : HYDCCL, Heigrujam kick-started the 39th Junior Boys State Level Volleyball tournament with a little tough but straight sets win against KLYGC, Kangmong in a Group D fixture today at HYDCCL volleyball court, Heigrujam. Altogether 10 teams, clubbed into four groups (two teams in two groups and 3 teams in two groups) are taking part in the tournament. Top two teams will advance to the quarter finals.
HYDCCL faced a tough opposition from KLYGC today right from the opening set but held their nerve to finish the game 25-23, 25-23, 25-20.
YMDO, Heirangoithong will open up Group C league campaign tomorrow against SDC, Samurou in the first match of the morning session before YPA, Hiyanglam Hiranmei take on NYVA, Naorem in a Group A league match and  KLYGC, Kangmong take on RCC, Churachandpur in a Group D league match.
IGO, Oinam will face SDI, Ishok in the first Group B league match latter at 2 pm.
