39th State Open Cash Prize Tennis Tournament: K Soham lifts U-10 boys single title

Imphal, Nov 7: K Soham today lifted the U-10 boys single title defeating Ch Khangba in the ongoing 39th State Open Cash Prize Tennis Tournament organised by Manipur Tennis Association at Officers' Club Tennis Court, Lamphel.
K Soham defeated Ch Khangba 4-0, 4-0 in the final to clinch the title while Abha Sharma beat H Mnajushree 4-0, 4-1 to lift the U-10 girls single title.
In U-12 girls singles final, Ananya Sharma defeated Abha Sharma 4-1, 3-5, 4-1 to emerge winner of the event while Y Thoibi defeated L Nandini 6-7 (7-4), 6-1, 10-2 in the U-14 girl singles title to lift the title.
Karnajit downed Rajiv 6-1, 6-1 in U-12 boys singles semifinal to enter the final while in men's singles quarterfinal, Th Indrakumar beat Yambem Leelenje 6-0, 6-2 and in another quarterfinal match, Ribhaskar beat Beckar 6-0, 5-7, 7-6 (10-4), Bhushan Haobam defeated Vicky Sagolsem 6-2, 2-0 (retired hurt) while T Brojen downed Luching Lukram 6-2, 6-3.
