Stage set for semi finals of Moirang 1st Division League

IMPHAL, Nov 8: ELSA Naransena; FC Kumbi;  AMOFA Academy and Moirang United FC have made it to the semi-finals of the 1st L Kerani Memorial Senior Division Football Tournament being organised by District Football Association Moirang at Moirang Multipurpose ground.
The first semi final match will see ELSA play FC Kumbi while AMOFA Academy will square off with Moirang United FC in the second semi-final match.
Both the semi-final matches have been fixed on November 12 and will take place at Moirang Multi Higher Secondary Ground.
Meanwhile, SYC, Sagang have closed their league campaign with a big 7-1 win over City FC, Moirang.
The scorers for the Sagang side are M John (10'), M Saiya (18', 34'), St Thangboi (31'), M Emmanual (37') and St Micheal (53', 55').
M James scored the only goal for City-FC in the 14th minute.
The win helped SYC finished third in the Group A table as AMOFA Academy and FC Kumbi finished group winners and runners up.
