Jr Boys State Level Volleyball: HYDCCL, KYLSC prevail to finish group winners

IMPHAL, Nov 8 : Quarterfinals line up for the ongoing 39th Junior Boys State Level Volleyball tournament has been completed today with the entry of NYVA, Naorem; IGO, Oinam; KYLSC, Kachikhul; SDC Samurou; YMDO, Heirangoithong; KLYGC, Kangmong;  HYDCCL, Heigrujam and YPA, Hiyanglam Hiranmei into the last eight.
HYDCCL and KYLSC made it to the quarter finals after emerging victorious in their respective group matches, today.
HYDCCL overwhelmed RCC, Churachandpur 3-1 (25-18, 25-17, 20-25, 25-10) in their last group D encounter to emerge Group winners while KYLSC also managed to win both their matches scheduled today to become Group B winners.
Firstly, KYLSC squared off with SDI Ishok in the morning session, in which the former team comfortably won in straight sets (25-16, 25-11, 25-22) and in the evening session, KYLSC secured a 3-1 win against IGO.  KYLSC started positively but conceded the second set before bouncing back and sealed the game  25-23, 22-25, 25-14, 25-12.
