RAFA blank UYDC 4-0 in Bpr U-15 Boys football tourney

IMPHAL, Nov 8 : RAFA, Thinungei which played out a 0-0 draw with KYSC&L, Kha Jiri in their Group A opener of the 5th A Iboton Memorial U-15 Boys Football League, today romped to a 4-0 win against UYDC, Upokpi to post their first win at Mini Stadium Bishnupur.
RAFA got off to a flying start with S Prasanta opening up the account early in the 6th minute before A Tom Joseph doubled their advantage two minutes latter. As UYDC were unable together to staged a show, the first half ended 2-0 in favour of UYDC which pumped in two more goals in the latter half with H Binot slamming home a single in the 41st minute before L Lanchenba firing home the last in the 48th minute.
In the Group B league match staged earlier, UFA, Bishnupur and UKCCL, Oinam played out a goalless draw.
KYSC&L will meet KYVO, Kwasiphai in the next Group A league match tomorrow.
