Thadou Inpi Chandel formed

KANGPOKPI, Nov 8: Thadou Inpi Chandel District was successfully installed today in the presence of Thadou Inpi-GHQs and Zou tribe representatives at KCA Hall, Munpi village in Chakpikarong Sub Division.
The installation of Thadou Inpi Chandel District was performed by Rev Onthong Haokip, Supt ECI Gunpi District. Meanwhile, John Thangjalet Haokip, T Chungngam Haokip, Thongvum Khongsai and Seikholal Touthang were elected as Chairman, Vice Chairman, General Secretary and Joint Secretary of the newly installed Thadou Inpi Chandel District.
While Ahao Haokip and Paokhosei Touthang were elected as Finance Secretary and Information and Publicity Secretary respectively, Khaiminlen Haokip was elected as Executive member. Certificate of election was handed over to the newly elected office bearers of Thadou Inpi Chandel District for the term 2019-2022 by Lamminthang Kipgen, president, Thadou Inpi GHQs.
