IMPHAL, Dec 1 : The 62nd edition of Sir Churachand Singh, KCSI CBE popularly known as CC Meet is set to begin from December 4 at Imphal's Mapal Kangjeibung under the aegis of All Manipur Football Association with a total of 32 teams participating in it.
This year's edition will be organised on knock out basis and was earlier supposed to be a 35-team event including two outside teams which will be joining from quarter final stage, but with the withdrawal of 3 teams from Sadar Hills and Senapati district, only 32 teams will be competing for top honours.
The State teams participating in this top flight tournament are : KLASA, Keinou; AMOFA, Moirang; LYCC, Liwa Changning Chandel; YPHU, Lalambung Makhong; CHIKL, Lilong Chajing; Tampi FC, Chandel; NACO, Nambul Mapal; AIM, Khabam; TYDA, Toubul; SYMROPIA, Churachandpur; AFC, Thoubal; KPFC, Kha Potsangbam; SSU, Singjamei; Sagolband United; NEROCA FC, Sangakpham; DM RAO, Sekmai; FC Lamjao; KIYC, Kshetri Iril Mapal; YUFC, Ukhrul; LYGSEDA, Longpi; SWC, Keirak; MA, Kangpokpi; NISA, Thangmeiband; WYFC, Wangjing; RAU, Lairikyengbam Leikai; UKB, Churachandpur; MPSC; JSYC, Kangpokpi and TRAU, Kwakeithel.
