Jiribam districthood celebrated

JIRIBAM, Dec 10: Meitei Convention celebrated Jiribam districthood day at Sanamahi Shanglen, Lairembi Leikai, Jiribam today.
Jiribam district was created from Imphal East on December 10, 2016.
Erstwhile convenor of Jiribam District Demand Committee W Dinesh Meitei and many other eminent personalities attended the celebration.
Gifts were presented to media persons for their services in bringing news and views of the district on public domain. The gathering urged Government to establish all department offices and required infrastructures to further develop the district.
