NPF's CAA meeting on Jan 7

DIMAPUR, DEC 29: The Naga People’s Front (NPF) will convene a “consultative meeting” on January 7, 2020, in connection with the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in Kohima.
According to an NPF notification, the meeting is being convened by NPF president Dr. Shurhozelie Liezietsu “in response to the recommendation of Disciplinary Action Committee (DAC) (of the party) and in exercise of the powers conferred vide Article V, Clause 3 of the party's constitution” to the president of the party.
Those who will be participating in the meeting include Central Office Bearers (COB), NPF MLAs, “presidents of frontal organizations and cells”, presidents of the NPF divisions and “invitees”. “The main agenda of the meeting is CAA and issues connected with it . Therefore, all concerned members are requested to attend without fail,” the notice of the party issued by its president Dr. Shurhozelie Liezietsu said.
The meeting will begin from 11 am at NPF central office in Kohima.
