62nd CC Meet all set to kick off today

IMPHAL, Dec 3 : The 62nd edition of Sir Churachand Singh, KSCI, CBE, Memorial Invitation Football Tournament 2019 is all set to kick off tomorrow at Mapal Kangjeibung with a total of 32 teams participating in it.
The tournament will be formally inaugurated at 1 pm tomorrow in the presence of YAS Minister, Letpao Haokip; social worker, Sheikh Noorul Hassan; L Lokendra Singh, president, All Manipur Sports Association; S Sanatomba Singh, former president, All Manipur Football Association and M Ratankumar Singh, president, All Manipur Football Association as presidium members.
The opening match of the tournament which is being organised by All Manipur Football Association will see AMOFA, Moirang take on LYCC, Liwa.
The winners of the tournament will receive a cash prize of Rs 5,00,000 along with a trophy (rolling) and runners up team will get a cash prize of Rs 2,50,000. Above these prizes, semi-finalists, quarter finalists and pre-quarter  finalists will be rewarded with cash prizes of Rs 10,000; Rs 5,000 and Rs 4,000 each and those teams which made it up the second round will receive Rs 3,000 each. Teams which feature in the first round will also get Rs 2,000 each.
Best player of the tournament, man of the final match, best goalkeeper, top scorer, best defender, best midfielder, best striker of the final match, best young player, champions' team coach, champions' team manager, best referee and best assistant referees will also be honoured with cash prize of Rs 5,000 each along with trophies besides a cash prize of Rs 10,000 and a trophy on offer for fair play team.
Teams participating in the tournament will also be provided travel and other allowances. For successful conduct of the tournament, necessary emergency medical arrangement has been made in addition to formation of various sub-committees.
In the meantime, AMFA has also named match officials who will be conducting the matches of tournament.
As per a statement of AMFA, Jadavchandra Haobam, Ksh Saratchandra, I Yaima, Ksh Modhuchandra, I Rabichandra, L Tarunkumar, S Jameskumar, H Khamba, Lokendra Sapam, L Ibohal Meitei, Ch Keilyani Chanu, S Rameshor Singh, Th Sanjit, M Magho, M Ranidas, I Joykumar, K Brojen, M Tharchung Chara and Wungnganing Kashung will be officiating the matches as match commissioners or assessors.
On the other hand, L Ajitjkumar, Kh Ranjit, I Harimohan, Th Raghu, A Dilip, Y Samarjit, Sh Suresh, I Hemanta, Ng Ananda, S Tombi, N Santosh, Kennedy Sapam, N Arunkumar, N Ibungo, Ph Lanthoiba, L Ropendra, T Premjit, K Brojen, Y Hemanta, K Ajitkumar, L Priyobarta, L Rojit, Kh Ibungo, H Santosh, Md Anus Khan, Ak Tuneshor, S Robin, I Ranjita Devi, Th Arunkumar, Th Dineshwor, Th Parsuram Singh, Ch Shyamson, Chim Chim Serto, Yulung Lungsu, Ringkahao Vashum and Th Joyshing Monsang will be conducting the matches as referees and assistant referees.
Those who will officiate only as assistant referees in the said tournament include Md Latif Ali, P Devananda, Sh Robinson, Md Suaib Khan, Md Nisar Alam, L Sanatomba, RK Angousana, M Ibomcha, Ph Jotin, M Roshni Chanu, E Devala Devi, L Shanta, S Onil, L Sanatomba, Ng Ingocha, S Premkumar, H Mahesh, Th Kiranjit, L Gokulananda, W Springson, A Dingku, N Amarjit, M Inao, L Raja, Y Ingobi, L Bhupen, S Punshi, Mathotmi R Shimray, Vareimi Horam, Lovejoy Horam, AS Livingstone, Minthavir Ruwngto, Kl Uninov Anal, RD Hringnidam, Md Amir Khan, W Iboyai, M Bidyasagar, Rigal Mayengbam, Bidyapati Yumnam, S Litanbala Chanu, Dovio Woba Oswin, L Marajba Ngiimei and RA Pahrii Ramai. The mentioned match officials and referees should report to AMFA general secretary in-charge, M Nilo, the statement said.
