IMPHAL, Dec 7: Bishnupur district police, as a part of the security measures taken up in connection with scheduled visit of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Manipur, conducted a cordon and search oper-ation at Nambol Kongkham Makha Leikai today morning.
During the search operation, more than 350 people, including 140 women, were verified.
Two individuals were detained and handed over to Nambol PS for further verification.
