Armstrong Pame impresses at Davos

IMPHAL, Jan 28 : Director of Youth Affairs and Sports, Armstrong Pame who recently attended the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum at Davos from January 20 to 25 rubbed shoulders with the who is who from the world of politics, entertainment, the corporate world and made a strong and impressive pitch for Manipur.

 

 

 

Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel, Vice President of China, Prime Minister of Ireland etc graced the meeting with Merkel addressing the gathering.

 

Eminent personalities from the corporate world including Bill Gates, Jack Ma, Sunil Mittal graced the annual meet and they discussed impending issues related to climate change, health matters etc.In the evening of January 23, during an event organised by FB, Armstrong Pame was called on stage to share space with Sheryl Sandberg for his positive use of FB.

 

Armstrong Pame also made a pitch for why the North East, especially Manipur, will emerge as the biggest trade region as it is the gateway to South East Asia. States of India like Telengana and Andhra Pradesh set up their own pavilion at the meet which was graced by many eminent personalities from different fields.
